Let us help you improve your hair, appearance and confidence
Whether you want your hair coloured with foils, tints, highlights, lowlights, semi permanent hair colour or balayage, the end results should be stunning and something you can show off proudly even if its just enhancing your natural hair colour.
These are just some of the colouring services we provide, anything you can think of or find that’s already been done bring in a picture and we’ll do it for you.
Full Colouring
Full Colouring also commonly called ‘All-Over Hair Colour’ and ‘Single-process hair colour’ is a one-stop process that coats your hair in a single shade.
There are different levels within full colouring: demi-permanent and permanent.
Permanent Colour – is obviously the longest lasting process and is typically tougher on your strands as it the only all-over colour that employs ammonia or ammonia derivatives, but it can lighten or darken your hair up to four levels in either direction.
Demi-Permanent Colour – Doesn’t last quite as long, generally on 24-26 shampoo washes, though in exchange is far gentler on your hair and is ammonia free.
The colours that we use are from the Affinage Infiniti and Affinage Satin ranges.
Colour Collection: Coffee Shop, Arctic Blondes, Gothics, Fashion Reds, Coppers, Gold, Violets, Velvet and Ecru.
The Affinage range has low to zero ammonia content, has optimum grey coverage and has a built in conditioner leaving the hair healthier and shinier than ever before.
These colouring processes can be used with any colour and shade you can think of and our experienced hairdressers can help you achieve any look you want.
Colour Corrections
Our hairdressers have years of experience with the colouring aspects of hair treatments and this expertise translates to correcting colour work that has taken a turn for the worse.
Whether your dealing a home-done box colour gone wrong, uneven highlights, or accidental bleaching, our hairdressers will work with you to devise a colour correction plan specific to you.
Highlights & Lowlights
Do you want to keep your natural hair colour, but just add a “few” tweaks to make it better?
As opposed to dyeing all your hair one colour or going for a complete change?
If so then what your looking for is probably Highlights or Lowlights.
Highlights and Lowlights are essentially very similar, they are a partial colouring technique, adding a different shade to your natural hair colour to certain strands of hair so that your hair ends up having depth, texture and various complementary hues.
Highlights – involve using colour and shades lighter than your natural shade to add a sun kissed effect to your hair
Lowlights – involve darkening strands of your hair by using colours and shades that are darker than your natural colour.
The main question when considering lowlights and highlights is what colour or shade should I use to complement my hair?
This is a question to talk about with your hairdresser, either arrange to speak and discuss this beforehand or come up with some ideas of your own, bring some pictures and discuss it on the day and ask for your hairdressers opinion.
Balayage Colour
The Balayage technique is a modern French freehand technique where the chosen colour is applied by hand rather than using foils or caps. The goal of this technique is to create soft, natural looking highlights and though it can be used on pixie cuts the best results are seen in shoulder length hair.
Though the technique takes around an hour and a half to two hours, the wait is well worth it as the colour will last about 10 weeks before needing recolouring and it will grow out naturally during this time, needing no touch ups in between.
Foil
One of the main colour treatments we provide is foiling.
Foiling is a highlighting technique that involves using foils to separate strands of hair and colour them, keeping them separate from the rest of your hair with natural hair colour.
How does it work?
Your hair is divided into thin sections, a foil is placed under that section and the bleach or colour is applied and the foil is folded to hold it in place and keep the product in.
What is Foil highlights full?
Full just means that your full head would be foiled, instead of the parts that would naturally be highlighted by the sun (Crown and around face).
